01 — The challenge

Plenty of field activity, no way to see what it returned.

Pioneer is a growth-management firm that accelerates distribution and sales for a chemical-services company — so its business runs on field activity. Its people are always out meeting end-users, the manufacturer they represent, and prospects in new territory. But it all ran ad-hoc: visits, approvals, and expenses moved over WhatsApp, email and paper bills, with no set sequence and no audit trail. The deeper gap was outcomes — a rep could travel, hold the meeting and file an expense with no record of what the visit was for or what it produced. So nobody could see which field activity actually drove business, or what any single visit returned.

02 — What we built

One governed portal, one path for every visit.

We dropped in TravelDesk, our visit-ROI product, to replace the WhatsApp-email-paper scramble with a single, governed path for every visit: request the visit and its objective → get the plan approved → make the visit → write down what happened, tied to that objective → file expenses with bill photos → reconcile and approve.

Two rules are enforced by the software, not left to trust: nothing is paid until it's signed off, and no expense can be filed until the visit's outcome is written down. Money only moves against a visit that's been accounted for.

It runs on three roles — the person in the field, their manager and the admin — each seeing only what they should. Sales and service visits are tracked separately, new lead potential is captured as it surfaces, and two analytics views show the work from both sides: execution for the manager, attribution for the associate.
